A new report from Citrix has found that remote working may hurt productivity by making employees feel disconnected, if they do not have access to the necessary technology to get their work done properly.
Almost half of respondents to the Citrix survey (44 per cent) in London said their organisation actively encourages remote working. The figures were lower outside London, possibly as a result of lower transport and office costs outside the capital.
