Flexible Working – The Connected Workplace

It’s not about visibility – it’s about outputs.

In 2009 Dell UK piloted a programme which they called “Connected Workplace”. The aim was to use flexible working practices to increase their ability to attract and retain staff. One of the challenges they faced was to change the attitudes of managers in the business . In this article the UK HR director, Dan Grant talks about the approach they took to embed this change in the organisation.
