Unhappy? You’re a Commuter

Commuting makes you unhappy. Most commuters would, in the words of the American Declaration of Independence, hold this truth to be self-evident. Now a study of 60,000 people by the Office of National Statistics confirms it. “Holding all else equal, commuters have lower life satisfaction, a lower sense that their daily activities are worthwhile, lower levels of happiness and higher anxiety on average than non-commuters.”

Working from home, at least part of the time, isn’t only good for your pocket, it’s good for your health and happiness. You already knew that. Now it’s official.
